TOTAL PRICE IS $200 USD.  $40 deposit is due immediately, and the remaining $160 must be paid before the nuc is released to you.  No checks will be accepted at time of pickup.  Please email us to arrange payment for the remainder of your balance.

These are nucs from my yards with overwintered 2024 queens.  The queens are bred from my own stock with a focus on gentleness, honey production, and mite resistance.  These nucs will be composed of 1 frame of honey/pollen, 2 frames of brood, 1 frame with foundation, and 1 miscellaneous frame containing either brood, pollen, or honey.  These nucs will be very strong and will need to be placed in a full sized hive as soon as weather permits.  These will be in a waxed cardboard box made for transporting nucs.  No frame exchanges accepted.

Please ensure we have an updated, VALID, email and phone number for you so that we can communicate payment and pickup details.  You will be notified several weeks in advance of your pickup date options.

Pickup dates should be mid to late May, 2025.  Dates are largely dependent on weather.  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP YOUR NUCS WHEN THEY ARE READY.

These are MEDIUM frame nucs.  My operation runs 8 frame, medium hives so the nucs I sell are all medium frame.

$40 deposit required to reserve your nuc.  This is NON-REFUNDABLE unless something goes horribly wrong on my end.  Example:  huge winter loss, CCD, or queens not readily available.

Select LOCAL PICKUP at checkout for shipping option.  There is no shipping of these nucs.  You must pick up.  Pickup dates are mid-May or late-May depending on weather and other uncontrollable issues of beekeeping.  Emails will be sent out to you with further pickup details.  Pickup will be in Hadley, PA.

Remaining balance ($160 per nuc) must be paid in full before nucs will be released to buyer.

You are guaranteed a colony with a live, mated, marked, Northern Survivor queen.  These queens are first year, overwintered from my stock that have been bred for winter survival, honey production, and non-aggressive behavior.  These “mutts” come from Saskatraz, Carniolan, Russian, and Mike Palmer’s famous queens.

Once you take possession of the nuc, it is your responsibility to safely transport and care for this colony of honey bees.  Due to the MANY different facets of beekeeping, no refunds will be provided once you leave the property where you pick up the nuc.
